Help me, lovelies~

I'm writing a short story in which the main character, Jules, lives by herself in a cottage in the snow. She frequently gets left gifts on her doorstep of pretty leaves, or food.
Sometimes she sees the gift-giver running away, but because of the snow, the only thing Jules can tell it that the gift-giver is a boy.
Should I make Tiber, the gift-giver, Jules's potential love or her long lost brother?
I can't decide, so I'm going to take a vote. ^^

Brother or lover...
Both would bring an interesting plot and twists.


This is a tough decision. I can see why you asked...

For now I say Brother.

Well brother would be good for the compassionate "I want you to survive so im secretly helping you." but the lover could be like an adoration almost flirtatious idea...im not sure...I think brother, just cause that seems to usually draw a better reaction (:

Hmm. . .if the boy is her brother, there should be a good reason why he cant meet ehr fac-to-face, and if he loves her, then they should have at least met before.
